HexaHang is built on the belief that the things you earn deserve to be seen. These Terms exist to protect that relationship — yours with your medals, and ours with you. Read them once; they're written for humans.
1. Who We Are
HexaHang is a brand operated by Mourya Dasgupta, sole proprietor ("HexaHang", "we", "us", "our").

2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using hexahang.com ("Site"), you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the Indian Majority Act, 1875 and the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
The Site and its products are intended for adults. The Site is not directed at, and is not intended for independent use by, individuals under 18 years of age. Where a person under 18 wishes to acquire a HexaHang product, the order must be placed and the payment made by a parent or legal guardian, who alone is the contracting party for that order.
At checkout and at registration, you will be asked to actively confirm your acceptance of these Terms via a checkbox. That confirmation is your binding agreement.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site or place an order.
3. Use of the Site
You may use this Site for lawful personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:
- Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of the Site without express written permission from HexaHang
- Purchase products for the purpose of unauthorised commercial resale or distribution
- Use automated tools, scrapers, or bots to access, index, or harvest Site content
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any backend system, database, or infrastructure
- Transmit harmful, offensive, or disruptive content through any Site form or channel
- Impersonate HexaHang, its proprietor, or any other person
- Place orders using fraudulent, stolen, or unauthorised payment instruments
- Abuse the refund, return, or cancellation process through misrepresentation
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms without prior notice.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including the HexaHang name, hexagonal logo mark, product designs, product photography, copy, and the phrase "No two are the same" — is the intellectual property of Mourya Dasgupta, sole proprietor trading as HexaHang, and is protected under applicable Indian law.
Trademark Applications (pending): Applications for registration of the wordmark "HEXA HANG" have been filed under the Trade Marks Act, 1999 in the following classes:
- Class 20 (physical goods — wooden medal holders, wall-mounted display holders, wooden display racks, wall-mounted furniture, decorative wooden display structures): Application Temp. Ref. No. 13777521, filed 19 February 2026
- Class 35 (online retail services — wooden medal holders, wall-mounted display products, wooden décor products, and related products): Application Temp. Ref. No. 13788497, filed 20 February 2026
These applications are pending registration. Unauthorised use of the HEXA HANG wordmark or any confusingly similar mark in connection with competing goods or services may constitute passing off under Indian common law, and will constitute trademark infringement upon registration.
The hexagonal logo mark, product designs, and all original written and visual content on the Site are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or imitation of these works is an infringement of copyright.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Site content without written authorisation. Non-commercial sharing of individual product photographs on personal social media accounts, with attribution '@hexahang' or 'via hexahang.com', is permitted.
5. Product Information and Wood Grain Variance
Every HexaHang display holder is handcrafted in our Kolkata workshop from natural wood. No two pieces are identical — this is the design premise.
What this means for your order:
- Grain pattern, knot placement, and tonal variation will differ from product photography on the Site. This is not a defect.
- Minor colour variation due to screen calibration is expected and is not grounds for return.
- Structural integrity, dimensions, and finish quality are consistent across all units.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept — through the checkbox at checkout — that your product will vary aesthetically from any Site photograph. Aesthetic variance due to the inherent nature of natural wood is not accepted as grounds for return or refund.
This does not affect your rights in respect of genuine manufacturing defects as defined in our Refund Policy, or your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
6. Account Creation
HexaHang does not currently require or offer user accounts. When accounts are introduced in a later phase, these Terms will be updated and you will be notified.
7. Pricing and Availability
All prices on the Site are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of GST at the applicable rate. The total price payable, including taxes and any shipping charges, is displayed at checkout before payment is confirmed.
Founders' Edition: "The First 252" is the identity of our launch edition. Once the launch allocation is exhausted, HexaHang reserves the right to close online ordering for that edition without prior notice. The phrase "The First 252" refers to the identity of the launch collection and is not a representation regarding total production quantity.
Pricing errors: In the event of a manifest technical pricing error (for example, a product listed at ₹100 instead of ₹10,000 due to a system fault), HexaHang reserves the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund to the original payment method. We will notify you promptly in such cases.
We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. The price confirmed at checkout is the price applicable to your order.

Orders, Payment, and GST Invoice
By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase the selected product(s) at the stated price. HexaHang accepts or rejects that offer — a confirmation email constitutes acceptance and forms a binding contract. Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway.
HexaHang does not store card numbers, UPI IDs, or netbanking credentials. By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay's terms of service and privacy policy, available at razorpay.com.
GST Invoice: A GST-compliant tax invoice will be issued for every confirmed order and sent to the email address provided at checkout, as required under Section 31 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.
Orders may be cancelled by HexaHang in the circumstances set out in the Cancellation Policy.
9. Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any other applicable Indian law. In particular:
- Your right to approach District, State, or National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissions is not affected by these Terms
- Your right to a remedy for defective goods is not excluded by our wood grain variance policy or any other clause herein
These Terms are in addition to, and do not replace, your statutory consumer rights.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and subject always to your statutory rights as a consumer, HexaHang (Mourya Dasgupta, sole proprietor) and its agents shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or products
- Loss of data, revenue, or profit
- Damages arising from third-party services (Razorpay, shipping partners, analytics providers, external links)
Our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount paid for that specific order, subject to applicable law and the rights available to you under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Nothing in this Section limits our liability for:
- Defective goods under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence or defective products
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HexaHang (Mourya Dasgupta, sole proprietor) from any claims, damages, or reasonable legal costs and expenses arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your misuse of the Site or products
- Your violation of any third-party right
- Any fraudulent or unlawful act in connection with your use of the Site
12. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Step 1 — Informal resolution: Before initiating any formal proceeding, you agree to contact HexaHang at complaints@hexahang.com and allow 15 business days for us to attempt resolution. Most disputes are resolved at this stage.
Step 2 — Formal proceedings: Subject to the rights available to consumers under applicable law, disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Kolkata, West Bengal, India. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Consumer disputes: Nothing in this Section prevents you from approaching the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Your right to do so is preserved absolutely.

14. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services (including Razorpay's payment interface and shipping partner tracking portals). HexaHang is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or reliability of any third-party site. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.
15. Platform Availability
We aim to keep the Site available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Site may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, or due to circumstances beyond our control. HexaHang is not liable for any loss arising from Site unavailability.
16. Force Majeure
HexaHang shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, floods, fire, epidemic or pandemic, acts of government or regulatory authority, courier or logistics disruptions, power failures, internet outages, or industrial action.
In such circumstances, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and either fulfil the order when the circumstances allow or offer a full refund.
17. Electronic Communications
By using the Site and placing an order, you consent to receive communications from HexaHang electronically, including by email, SMS, WhatsApp, and other electronic means. Such communications shall satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing, subject to applicable law. This consent relates to operational and transactional communications; marketing communications are governed by separate, optional consent as described in our Privacy Policy.
18. Modifications to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered customers and subscribers at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Site after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
For orders already placed before a change takes effect, the Terms in force at the time of order will govern that order.
The last updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Cancellation Policy, Shipping Policy, and Returns Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and HexaHang in respect of your use of the Site and any purchase made through it. They supersede all prior representations, communications, and agreements.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a competent court or authority, that provision will be severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
21. Waiver
Failure by HexaHang to enforce any provision of these Terms on any occasion does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision on any subsequent occasion.
